Because memories should last forever.
Medicare recommends that adults age 60 and older receive a memory screening every year.
An early diagnosis of dementia can help individuals:
Better prepare for future care needs
Explore treatment options
Make end-of-life decisions
Establish legal and financial plans while they are still cognitively able to do so
A memory screening consists of a 30-minute private interview with a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Your results will be provided immediately following the screening and will be reviewed with you during your appointment.
