Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged & Disabled (PAAD)

The Borough of Waldwick is pleased to share this important resource from the Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission for residents who may need assistance with prescription medication costs.

The Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged & Disabled (PAAD) program is a New Jersey state-funded program that helps eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities save money on prescription medications.

You may qualify if you:

  • Are a New Jersey resident.
  • Are 65 years of age or older, or are between 18 and 64 and receive Social Security Title II Disability benefits.
  • Meet the income guidelines:
    • Single: Less than $54,943
    • Married: Less than $62,390

Applications are completed through NJ SAVE. Paper applications are also available by calling the Division of Aging Services at 1-800-792-9745 or by requesting one from your local pharmacy, senior center, or Area Agency on Aging.
