Work on the water main break on West Saddle River Road that affected water service to approximately half the town yesterday continues today. The main has been temporarily repaired and water service has been restored.

There is still a Boil Water Advisory in effect until further notice. Out of an abundance of caution, the Borough is recommending that all residents follow the Boil Water Advisory guidelines found on the website.

Limited bottled water will be available for pick up behind the Police Department, 15 E. Prospect.

Businesses may operate as long as they are following the boil water guidelines, and must also reach out to the Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission to schedule a followup inspection by calling (201) 445-7217.

In the event of an emergency all residents should call 9-1-1 immediately.
