Hydrant Flushing Information

Due to all the recent water work and the PFAS Remediation Project, the Borough is changing the originally published hydrant flushing schedule. Hydrant Flushing of the entire town started on 8/19, which should take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete.

Please note, flushing will take place overnight from 10:00pm-5:00am, Monday-Friday to limit disturbances to residents during this time.

Residents may experience some discoloration in their water, which is a result of the settling of naturally found minerals in water. The remedy is to let the water run for a short time to clear up. Please make sure to do this first thing in the morning.
