Property Tax and Water bills are due four times a year – February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1.
The Borough offers taxpayers a 10-day grace period; after that, interest is assessed back to the first day of the due date.
Tax and Water payments can be mailed to Waldwick Borough Hall, PO Box 65, Waldwick, NJ 07463 or placed in the drop box located outside of the Administration building.
Taxes and/or Water may also be paid online. Click here to make an online payment.
Cash payments may be made for exact payment amounts. No change can be issued.
Online Checking: If you use your own banks online bill pay system, please make sure that you have your account number or block and lot number in the memo section. Allow for extra time when making this payment. Your check is mailed to us by your bank.
Checks: To avoid having your check returned due to errors and causing a delay that may cause interest charged for late payments, follow these instructions:
• Make checks payable to Borough of Waldwick.
• Make sure that the written amount matches the numerical amount.
• Make sure that the check is signed.
• Place block and lot numbers or the account number in the memo section of the check.
ACH Withdrawal Program: The Borough of Waldwick is now accepting tax and/or water payments via automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account. This service assures your payment will be received in a timely manner. Funds are withdrawn on the last day of the 10-day grace period. There is no fee for this service. If you are interested in this convenient payment method, submit a completed enrollment/authorization form along with a voided check.
