Hydrant Flushing Information

The Borough’s annual town-wide hydrant flushing program has started. Please note, flushing will take place overnight from 10:00pm – 5:00am, Monday – Friday to limit disturbances to residents during this time.

SPRING SCHEDULE:

• District 4 & 6 (West of Crescent Ave): 3/31 – 4/4 
• District 6 (East of Crescent Ave): 4/7 – 4/9
• District 2: 4/10 – 4/11, 4/14 – 4/16
• District 1: 4/17, 4/21 – 4/24
• District 5: 4/25, 4/28 – 4/30
• District 3: 5/1 – 5/2, 5/5 – 5/6

FALL SCHEDULE:

• District 3: 9/2 – 9/4
• District 5: 9/5, 9/8 – 9/10
• District 1: 9/11 – 9/12, 9/15 – 9/17
• District 2: 9/18 – 9/19, 9/22 – 9/24
• District 6: 9/25 – 9/26, 9/29 – 9/30
• District 4 & 6: 10/1 – 10/3, 10/6

Residents may experience some discoloration in their water, which is a result of the settling of the naturally found minerals in water. The remedy is to let the water run for a short time to clear up.
