Metal Collection
Metal collection is on the first Monday of every month. Items must be metal, such as stoves, refrigerators, lawn mowers, washer/dryer machines, dishwashers, microwaves, hot water heaters, disassembled metal swing sets, iron railings, pipes, air conditioners and grills. Any fuel must be removed prior to disposal. Doors to appliances are collected, but must be removed prior to disposal. Item(s) must be curbside by 6:00 am on day of collection or put curbside no sooner than the day before collection.
Please use the Metal Collection form to register for a pickup.
The office must receive your request by 2:00 pm on the Wednesday before the scheduled pickup in order to be included.
If you receive a "page not found" message, the form is closed and it is past the deadline to register. Please call the DPW at 201-652-5900 with any questions.

Unaccepted Items for Metal collection:
- Fuel - please remove prior to disposal.
- Bulk items - please schedule a bulk collection at www.waldwicknj.gov/bulk.
- Electronics - please schedule an electronics collection at www.waldwicknj.gov/electronics.
- Hazardous waste - please see disposal options at www.waldwicknj.gov/BCUA.
- Construction materials - not accepted.
Alternatively, metal items can be disposed of at the Recycling Center at 19 Industrial Park.
